We spend a lot of time teaching new drivers how to drive. But what about when the car starts telling them something is wrong? 😬
Before they head out alone, make sure they know:
🔴 Red warning light = take it seriously. Know when to safely pull over instead of trying to make it home.
🌡️ If the temperature gauge climbs, STOP. Continuing to drive an overheating engine can turn a problem into a very expensive one.
🛞 Know what a bad tire feels like. Pulling, shaking or a sudden change in handling shouldn't be ignored.
🔋 Know the signs of a weak battery. Slow cranking today can become a car that won't start tomorrow.
👃 Teach them to notice changes. New smells, sounds, vibrations or loss of power are often the car's first warning.
And maybe the most important lesson:

“If something doesn't feel right, call me.” ❤️
