Sunday August 30th was a WFO Promotions Race in Aledo IL at Mercer County Motorsports. I had a mid pack start around 8th. I had a really good first lap working my way up to 4th. After the first lap I couldn’t seem to put in to many solid laps and dropped a ways back. With a couple laps to go it started raining harder and made the track very slick. I worked my way up to 6th by the end. Ready to continue building back to where I was!

Last weekend was my first race back after breaking my ankle. We went to Fox Valley Off Road and I had a really good weekend of racing.

Saturday in Open I was able to go 1/1 for 1st. In A I went 1/2 for 2nd. I had good starts, good speed, and good battles all day!

Sunday was the Cody Barnes 99 Race. I didn’t get a very good start but made my way to second. First couple laps were very slick and I made some mistakes shuffling places with 2nd thru 5th several times. I was on the bike for 4 hours and 43 minutes Sunday and kept a good pace the whole time bringing it in for 2nd. I was able to complete the 99 miles as well which was pretty awesome.

Sunday July 5th was a WFO Promotions Race in Oakford IL. Oakford is a track I have always struggled at some but I went in as ready as I could be. We had a line of 23 AA riders and every one of them is fast. I got off to a really good start and had a lot of fun most of the first lap when most of us kinda rode together. I made a couple mistakes and lost a few positions but settled in around the 8/9 area. Halfway through the last lap I had a small fall and the bike landed on my ankle just right. I knew instantly it wasn’t good. Huge thank you to everyone who stopped and checked on me and especially Chris Huffman who stopped his race to get me back to the pits. I ended up breaking my ankle with surgery later this week. I’ll be impatiently waiting for the all clear to get back out there.
