Windshield chips with really long lines take much longer to fill because I make sure the lines are completely filled. Just for reference, the glass part of my mirror is 2 inches across, that makes this chip much larger than a quarter. Yes I now own a van and you will see it around town. With fuel prices and the cost of insurance, I will not be driving it every day, because I want to keep giving you the best price so I will still be riding my motorcycle a lot, but if you see me in a parking lot don't be afraid to stop and ask if I have time to do a repair for you. In most cases I will be able to do just that.

Not every chip can be made completely invisible, this chip was 2 inches across, that is much much larger than a quarter, it was larger than a silver dollar, and even larger than a silver half dollar, and there was a lot of damage. After 30 minutes of repair time the chip is repaired and will not crack. It may not be invisible but the customer was sure happy to pay $35 dollars for the repair, since everyone else would have tried to get them to replace the 3,000 dollar windshield.

Rock chips like this are dangerous because the lines had already started getting longer when the customer called. With the cool nights and warm day now rock chips can crack much faster so make sure you call us and let us repair it before it cracks.
