Nothing better than brand new parts that don't work. I've been having issues with the power steering, or lack thereof. So, I rented a power steering pressure tester and found that there was no pressure comingout of the pump.
Opened up the pump to find that the pressure plunger (?) and spring were installed incorrectly. Put it back together in the correct order and reinstalled everything. Guess what? It works!
Must have been the last part on a Friday or the 1st one on Monday.
Regardless, I learned some more things and more importantly, power steering is working.
