Most of our vehicles use synthetic oil exclusively now, but this old commercial is a great reminder that all of the materials used in your vehicle are working under extreme conditions right now.

Let's talk tread depth....

Tires are unsafe, and are not legal for use on Wisconsin roadways, at 2/32 in tread depth.
We recommend replacement at 4/32 in.

During fall and winter, we suggest thinking about replacing tires a little bit early if your tires are at 5/32in or 6/32in. Why struggle through a long winter and replace your 4/32in tires in spring?

Winter is much easier to deal with when you have good tire tread.

Tires have 50% less wet & winter traction at 6/32in tread depth!
Tires have 75% less wet & winter traction at 4/32in tread depth!
Tires have 87.5% less wet & winter traction at 3/32in tread depth!

Social media is NOT the best source for important information. (Yes, I recognize the irony here)
I was just in a discussion on FB about tire repair safety.
The vast majority of participants in the discussion were offering advice contrary to longstanding professional guidelines of tire safety. Their ill-advised opinions were passionate, (sometimes/often angry) and they were able to use enough technical jargon to make their opinions sound plausible to those who don’t know any better.
Any industry professional who dared to share technical, professional information was accused of greed, incompetence, and ignorance.
It would be very easy to be misled if using this string of information to form an opinion.
Please, anytime that your safety, or the safety of others, is involved, speak with an experienced professional, not “your brother in law who knows stuff” nor social media.
Tire repair chart shared, because this chart is a great example of reasoned professionals sharing professional guidelines.

We are looking for a Part Time person to quality check vehicles, clean cars, clean shop, clean equipment, shuttle customers, pick up parts, etc.

Automotive knowledge is NOT required. A great teamwork focused attitude is required.

Must have a clean driving record, be clean cut, and punctual. We are a fast growing company, so there is always room for advancement here.

This is a part time position. Monday AND Friday, 2:00PM to 6:00PM. It’s about 8 hours per week.
