It’s with great pleasure I close this chapter of my life. My experience with this industry is summed in the title of the article I was featured in, “Pride and Pain”.

The pride:
I can safely say I’ve hit more milestones as a individual installer then 90% of the entire industry. 1st and foremost I noticed a transitional change in 2013 and retained a esquire to trade mark Premier Auto Glass, only to have the law firm sit on it and after 6 months tell me they didn’t feel comfortable writing the trademark the way I requested them to do so, and refunded me. That move alone would have raked in millions nationwide with royalties. The glass game isn’t a fair one to say in the least.

More recently I assisted in the Girls rock repair program and trained a completely inexperienced green horn to compete in a competition against the most skilled and seasoned technicians from around the world, and I did so in under 6 months. Although she didn’t win, she secured the Convented Equalizer auto glass tools sponsership to be the first female to complete in the replacement division the following year.

During the timespan of 12 months I secured a ambassador contract and NDA with glass technologies, with the goal being covertly use social media as a platform for intel; gather it from normal techs feedback on the tools they have with videos I would produce, and rebrand and redesign the entire tool line.

12 months- 3 of the largest tool manufacturers with 10 of thousands of dollars worth of the newest tools.

The pain:
Prior to that, my boss wouldn’t buy s**t. He was the kind of boss that would offer incentive programs to pump up the performance and then call for a meeting telling everyone profits where down so no incentives. The very same day he bought a car cheap because the rust was so severe and turn it within a hour making enough of profit to pay incentives, and brag about it.

The kind of boss that would sit in a air conditioned office while we had 10 brand new dealership cars lined up, dripping sweat all over them on a 100 degree day, without a single fan. And when asked he irately would say no and send you home for a week.

As if the 3 sponsorships didn’t intimidate the shareholders of premier enough I started the 1st social media group for autonomously driving cars calibration. The biggest worldwide and booming. ADAS shop talk is huge. Top it all off with a tool recycling program sponsoring oversea technicians.

Why did I accomplish all this, because one day my father said I did more harm to his company then good and I wanted to so him differently. I thought being his name to the top with global recognition, the 1st female techs in the industry at a competitive level with oversea partnerships with every glass shop in the nation send us there used tools to redistribute.

I should have let his sink ship when he fell ill. But instead I ran that shop the way I thought it should have been ran and during his absence, I shattered every record he had, myself alone. Bitch boy Alex was supposed to help but mostly out of sight.

What I thought was the right direction was not good for a company that didn’t want that kind of attention. A public jab at some shoddy work done by a local competitor and was all it took to send he partners and fellow shareholders over the edge, terminating my position. Since 2006 I put my future in this company working for less then $15 hour, no benefits and happily did so with the promise it would be completely handed over. Instead I got a $15 a hour month severance and legs cut out from under me.

In a last ditch effort to control me he offers to set me up with my own company and dug a piece of s**t van out of his bone yard. Then that evening, which I thought was a real father son moment, we set the van up with tools so i was ready to rock. Even had a agreement he would give me referrals for everything west of dodge center. But guess what happened, my van got robbed inside of his shop, mostly tools I was giving with all the sponsorships. Those jobs promised to me, well for months after my termination premiers email was still coming to my phone and I watched him take every one with the exception of a single rock chip. My online presence was being thwarted by duplicate google listings, canceling mine out. Quick I realized I was being set up to fail and seen the flow through fraudulent double claims being filed. Then it hailed, and hailed hard in my home town. What would have been a 100k month was ended when my glass run was shafted and he brought me a extra rack slamming it on my phone in the back of the van. Couldn’t take calls, couldn’t order glass. Everything auto glass was being done out of spite since then and I must close that chapter.

I am in every way better than that man anyone in the know, knows if it this game was a fair one, I’d be the victor. He once asked if I though I was smarter than the lawyers that set all this up. And got mad when I wanted to bring my prior year tax returns to accountant due to some odd discrepancies like million dollar mortgage deductions, when I don’t own a home.

I’ll just leave the details of the fraud ring all these insurance agents, glass shops and billing networks have going on out of this post. But I highly recommend anyone reading this to get a lexis nexis consumer report, and ask for a complete C.L.U.E. History.

But as far as me being a participant in the glass game, not a option because I don’t want to feel the pain and I’m not playing anymore. And seeing all the fellow glass shops participating in the f**kery makes me be ashamed to be one.

As for my future. I might just start investigating fraud and tax evasion within corporations and report them to the irs. Payout is a cool tax free 30% of whatever the government recaptures and with all those irresistible PPP loans that were distributed made shell companies stick out like a sore thumb.

Good luck and good by,

What's the difference between 1st class headlamp restorations and the others? G-Clear gelcoat UV cured coating. Other restorations sand and buff back to a shine but that only lasts a few weeks or if your lucky, a few months. Composite headlamps come with a gelcoat, and without that coating that sand and buff job just doesn't cut it.

New year new services. With so many glass shops pushing replacement over repair, we've decided to make a splash and send a shock wave. 75% of all installations are done wrong. Pushed technicians with 8-9 windows to do in a day, can't do them right... Think about it. And shop owners refuse to look at new technologies that make repair a safer and more economical option. That $1000 replacement could just easily been as good as new for $100. As of now, 1st class will be your only specialized repair and preventive shop in SE Minnesota.
