Look Up! The Perseid Meteor Shower Peaks This Week! 🌠
One of the year's most spectacular celestial events is here! The Perseid Meteor Shower is expected to reach its peak, giving sky watchers the chance to see dozens of meteors streak across the night sky.
For the best view, head to an area away from city lights, allow your eyes about 20–30 minutes to adjust to the darkness, and look up after midnight or before dawn.
When to Watch: The highest meteor rates occur after midnight through dawn.
Where to Look: Meteors will appear to radiate from the northeast sky (near the Perseus constellation), but they will streak across the entire night sky.
