Mustang Monday!!!

NEW PB for the Modified by KC S550!!!!

We decided to take advantage of this amazing weather we got and went out to Flying H Drag Strip for a private track rental.

First pass 9.41 @ 148 mph! Finally breaking past that 9.58 bearer. Second pass 9.34 @ 150 mph! This is leaving soft on the foot brake. Decided let’s try the trans brake and just see what happens well how about 9.30 @ 150 mph!!!! This 3800 tank is rolling! Robert Dominguez tried a couple different things on the launch but 60' would stay in the 1.4s.

We are beyond thrilled with the car doing 9.30s with all the weight in it. Now to take some weight out and get into the 8s! Tuned in-house, E85 and some hope and we’re going to get there! 😎

For those curious about the car. The only change we made this season was going from a 3.15 rear gear to a 3.55 and a carbon fiber driveshaft. We left the 4.10 SC pulley on it & were seeing 21-22psi with the 60* air.

We're super pumped for next season and what we have in store for this car! 💪

Mustang Monday!
This S197 came in for a Ford Racing 4.10 ring & pinion swap from the OEM 3.73.
We utilized HP Tuners to get the change made within the ECU to make sure the speedometer reads correctly as well.

Motor Monday!
This 2010 Camaro SS arrived nearly stock with a Volant Performance intake.
We pulled the motor to upgrade to a stage 3 LS3 Brian Tooley Racing camshaft kit.
All new timing components, Melling Performance Parts high PSI oil pump, GM Genuine Parts & ACDelco LS7 lifters, Performance Torque Converters Race torque converter, Texas Speed & Performance long tube headers mated to a CORSA Performance catback system. Vibrant Performance spark plug insulators, NGK Spark Plugs
Modified by KC calibration dialed in via HP Tuners RTD

Whipple Wednesday!
This '26 F-150 arrived with a stage 2 Whipple Superchargers a set of Velocity Exhausts long tube headers mated to an SPD Performance catback. Along with a D Performance Solutions fuel system.
We upgraded the injectors to a set of Fuel Injector Connection 1000cc injectors, along with our FlexFuel kit utilizing a P3 Gauges
We installed an ATI Performance Products 15% overdrive damper, Fast Forward Race Engines crank stud saver, & 3.875 ZPE Inc. GripTec supercharger pulley to yield just under 14psi.
We dialed in the Modified by KC calibration via HP Tuners RTD.

Truck Tuesday!
This gorgeous '56 Chevy made it's way into us not starting/running. We diagnosed a failed ECU causing the no start concern. Once we got it up & running, we built the custom exhaust system with all Vibrant Performance 304ss components, GSport cats.
Once on the Dynojet Research Inc. 424x, we found it to be overheating with the current fan not keeping up. So we upgraded it to a SPAL USA PWM fan controlled through the OEM GM ECU from the 2014 L83 swap.
We dialed in the Modified by KC calibration via HP Tuners RTD.
This is going to an excellent cruiser!!

It was a long, hot weekend out at Flying H Drag Strip at the RPM Revival Boost & BBQ event presented by ProCharger Superchargers
We entered the Modified by KC S550 Mustang in the 10.0 & Street Car classes. We were planning to use the SC class for more data & seat time to get reaction times & short track dialed in. With having 10.09, 10.07, & 10.05 as our slips, we knew we could go pretty far in the 10.0 class. But were bested by a bracket racer that got us at the tree.
Which left us still in the SC class. As luck would have it, we got real lucky when the street cruise came up, & only 7 cars went on the cruise. The SC class had to do the cruise part of it to be called up to the staging lanes, & got dwindled down from a 16 car field. Then when we got called up, more luck ended up on our side with only 4 cars making it to the lanes. We drew chips, & more luck landed in our lap again getting lined up against an ESS equipped S197. We took him down with a 9.81 to a 10.05.
Now into the finals against a Killer Performance built TT F-150. We knew this was NOT going to be an easy pass at all, as those guy's build some excellent projects. As luck would have it...the 1/4 mile sensors failed at the track, & they moved everything to 1/8 mile for the rest of the day. This put us in an excellent position, & only had to tree him, & stay out in front with those turbo's coming in harder on the back half of the track.
Robert Dominguez cut a .646 to his .814, & stayed out in front for the win!!! 💪🏆
We can't thank everyone enough for the team effort to get our first win!!!
