Kansas City-based vintage clothing retailer Rex is set to celebrate the grand opening of its new flagship store in the West Bottoms on July 17, 2026, expanding from a 7,000-square-foot space to a 16,000-square-foot, two-story location.

Founded by brothers Reade and Thomas Rex, the new store will feature a significantly larger inventory of vintage and secondhand clothing, a lounge area, and the debut of Cafe Rex, offering coffee, matcha, pastries, and specialty drinks.

The expansion marks a major milestone for the growing local brand, which has built a strong following through community events and social media while aiming to create a community-focused destination that goes beyond traditional retail.

Grand Opening Event:
Friday, July 17 at new location = 📍 1280 Liberty St.
Celebrating all day with:
- Free merch swag bags for the first 100 customers
