~ DOUBLE H ANNUAL COAT DRIVE ~

If any of you have coats, hats, gloves, or scarves that you would like to donate to our Annual Coat Drive, you can make donations at 2 locations, in Raytown, through Saturday afternoon, at 3:30.

The Quiktrip on 350 highway & the Dunkin’ Donuts on 350 Highway were both gracious enough, to allow us to place collection bins in their stores.

Saturday afternoon, we will pick the items up to distribute them to those in need.

We have paired up with the Salvation Army/Project Warmth, so that if we have any remaining items, they will still go to a great cause, continuing to help others.

Thank You Guys!

Did you guys know that tomorrow is a very important day? It’s Stamp Out Hunger Day!

If you don’t already know, it’s the largest single-day food drive in the country! Each year, the 2nd Saturday in May, USPS mail carriers team up with Harvester’s to pick up donated items to help those in need.

You may have received an empty bag, to use for donations, in the mail, on 5/7. If not, you can use any bag that you have.

If you’d like to make a contribution, you can simply leave a bag of donations, next to your mailbox. Your mail carrier will pick them up when they drop your mail off on Saturday.

The greatest needed items are peanut butter, pasta, canned pasta sauce, cereal, canned vegetables and fruits (no sugar added), & canned meats.

If you can donate, please consider doing so. School lets out soon, so many households will see a hike in their grocery bills. Thanks. Stay safe & be blessed!

For the past two years we’ve all missed a lot of our favorite things. At Harvesters, we’ve missed some of our favorite food drives – Stamp Out Hunger is one of those drives. Letter carriers… More
