Over the weekend our community witnessed something both heartbreaking and profoundly beautiful. As we honored 9‑year‑old Jackson Collins, who bravely battled cancer for 10 long months, the streets filled with love, headlights, and quiet respect. His Last Ride was led and surrounded by a long line of trucks, along with so many others who showed up to stand with his family and celebrate his life.
Seeing those trucks rolling together for Jackson — lights on, moving as one — was a reminder that this industry is more than work. It’s family. And today, that family wrapped its arms around a little boy whose strength inspired an entire community.
Thank you to every driver, every company, and every person who came out. Your presence made Jackson’s Last Ride something truly unforgettable.
It was an honor to be a part of something so meaningful, to help give Jackson a final ride worthy of the brave little warrior he was. His life may have been short, but the impact he made was enormous.
Rest in peace, sweet Jackson. You touched more hearts than you ever knew.
