• Strong diagnostic and repair skills

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekends!

❗️ Attention Uber/Lyft drivers ❗️

Joes Automotive "The Do It Better Shop" is now offering Uber/Lyft vehicle inspections! ✅

If you plan to offer ride-sharing for Uber/Lyft, a vehicle inspection is almost always required. These inspections ensure vehicle safety.
In Chicago, all uberX, uberXL, and UberSELECT vehicles must undergo a 21-point inspection for new and used vehicles.
Once on the Uber platform, vehicles with a vehicle age of 6 years or older must be inspected semi-annually. Vehicles with vehicle age of 5 years or newer must be inspected annually.

Beyond inspections, all cars used for Uber/Lyft ride-sharing services must meet general safety and operational standards, including valid insurance and registration.

Inspections are not typically needed for Uber Eats deliveries, but the requirements can also vary based on local regulations in your city or region. Some locations or vehicle ages may require inspections even for Uber Eats deliveries.
