Sandblasted the flatbed with plans to slightly modify and paint but ended up with too much pitting on the diamond plate so had to cut everything apart and put new diamond plate. Got to sandblast and epoxy the channels after cutting the old plate off to seal up between everything before new plate was added. Went a little further than planned and added bigger wheel arches, made flush mount marker lights and taillights, cut the header rack and tipped it in to match the angle of the side of the cab, changed the bumper style, added a gas door so there wasn't a ugly fuel filler hanging down, tucked the plate mount, added reverse camera, made flush stake pockets in the deck to keep the sides smooth, and bedlined everything top and bottom. Wanted to keep the old style flat bed to match the truck instead of buying a new one that the style wouldn't fit the build.
