Most people tell you how scary European cars can be. I tell you how much better it can be. Confidence in what others are leery of is a trait I’ll happily accept. The anemic stereo in this Cayman should have never been used is such a neat car. So we fixed that. Elate Carbon 93s leave no part of the audible range to be desired and laugh at the idea of needing a subwoofer. The brand new 6ch amp with built and DSP and auto tune feature made the most of the unusual speaker placement with ease. deadening material is paramount to the rock solid performance of such high energy speakers. Seamless and fantastic!! If only every car could get the same treatment.

Finally got to dig into a new Bronco! There definitely isn’t a lot of room to play with, you just have to get creative. I flashed the awful EQ settings out of the OEM radio to integrate the DSP amps easily and seamlessly. holds up to their end with the amazing pairing of Virtus speakers and Primo sub. This is an outstanding discreet system, who wants to be the one to do a WILD one!? 😈

Vehicle comfort… we all take it into consideration buying a car, but don’t realize we can improve it after the fact. For example, the measurements taken before and after in 2020 Sierra AT4 HD. It’s a top tier, borderline luxury truck. But with proper, simple steps can be made immediately better 3 layer deadening material was applied to the largest portions of metal and makes obvious and measurable lessening of road noise. The reduction in the low frequency range,shown in the graph, is the “droning” you hear making it easier to hear passengers or podcasts and making the midbass of your music more apparent and accurate. From work truck to expensive German luxury cars, it’s a guaranteed improvement when properly applied. Wow…. The only thing that comes to mind listening to the audiophile treatment this Honda got from signal and power playing through Elate Carbon Pro 3way speakers. The extreme detail and effortless sound at surf boat volumes was a pleasure to listen to and left jaws on the floor. keeps all the energy where it belongs and panels from resonating. This one has left me and everyone who demoed it grinning from ear to ear!

This beautiful example of a 1st generation came to me from a family who had put their heart and soul into getting the vehicle only to be disappointed by its numerous short comings. I was happy to turn this around and make the last 5% of the work make them 100% extatic. Painted metal, some new panels with blind fasteners, and a lot of other details, go a long way!
