Just had to share the win for tonight. End was swollen bigger. Why threads were trashed. Watched my grandfather Julius do this when I was a kid growing up in the shops. And still using his threader tool he used to fix axle threads.

Sibo’s garage will have a tow truck in the future. Picked up this fine 1963 gem with an original Detroit 453. Guy had video of it running 5 years ago but I imagine over the next year I can get it running and driving again. Just need to find a wheel lift in decent shape to install. Going to pick up rest of boom from the guy soon as weather permits and can get to it easily with less snow. Think this will help with retrieving stuff faster and safer when on roads or in town. Will keep you guys posted on when the truck is up and ready to bring the non running vehicles to the shop.
