The Kalamazoo Speedway Banquet is coming up on Saturday, November 7th, from 5PM–9PM!

🏁 KALAMAZOO SPEEDWAY — A RECORD-SETTING 2026 SEASON! 🏁

The 2026 racing season is officially in the books, and while we’re already looking ahead and building for 2027, we wanted to take a moment to look back at what was an incredible year at the Kalamazoo Speedway.

🔥 The Intimidator 100 kicked off the season by bringing a historic Outlaw Super Late Model event back to opening night. The Speedway welcomed one of its biggest opening-night crowds in recent memory, with 91 cars across three classes.

💥 September 12th — Legendary Night of Destruction saw the largest crowd in Kalamazoo Speedway history! What a night it was!

🇺🇸 V8 Night made its debut on Friday, July 24th, with 75 V8 cars filling the pit area. No four-cylinders — just V8 power! It was a huge hit with our race fans and proved to be another great addition to the schedule.

🏆 The Kalamazoo Klash returned home to its traditional third Wednesday in August, and the Outlaw Super Late Models delivered! The Klash featured the highest Outlaw Super Late Model car count in the country in 2026 with 28 cars. One of the largest Klash crowds of the 2020s watched history being made as Terry Sennekker Jr. became the all-time Kalamazoo Klash winner!

📈 Kalamazoo Speedway also averaged the highest car counts in the state of Michigan, with our four weekly divisions averaging 89 cars per event.

👟 The 39th Annual Super Shoe Nationals capped off an incredible summer with the campground sold out, more than 500 campers, and 203 cars in the pits! It was another massive weekend at the Zoo.

None of this happens without the incredible team behind Kalamazoo Speedway. From our race management and marketing teams, to the hard-working ladies answering the phones, our weekly employees, and everyone who works behind the scenes — it takes a tremendous amount of effort to put on a season like this.

There are countless hours put in during the winter and throughout the summer that most people never see. Our leaders and staff worked extremely hard to make 2026 a season to remember. We couldn't do it without them.

The Kalamazoo Speedway family is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Johnny Mines, a longtime racer at the speedway from South Haven, Michigan.

Johnny was part of the Kalamazoo Speedway racing community for many years, and we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.
