So we get a lot of drives in the shop that have just been rebuilt buy other Marine shops with the new gear set missing some teeth in less than 40 hours. I would say 85% of the time the shift yoke is missing the last 1/4 inch of the ramp.
Here is a yoke that was ready to eat some gears.
