It is with the heaviest of hearts that I share the devastating news of the sudden passing of my beloved daughter, Heather Rupp, on Wednesday, January 22. Many of you knew Heather as the warm, caring voice and face of Mike's Auto, but she was so much more - an incredible daughter, devoted mother to Rilee and DJ, loving wife to Dave, and a loyal friend to all who knew her.

We have been deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support from our community. For those who have asked how they can help support Heather's family during this difficult time, a Go Fund Me has been established in her memory.

This was a repair on a Toyota 4-Runner that arrived with a hard start /starter issue. The prior repair is good, as a last resort, but you should always install the correct battery terminal, when possible. The second picture shows the correct repair, using the correct battery terminal. This sludge came out of a 2007 Mercedes Benz E320 diesel 206k miles, this is why its so important to service the engine oil on a regular basis. Believe it or not this car is up and running fine after three oil changes at 1500 Mi increments.
