June Lake is a natural glacial mountain lake in the friendly town of June Lake, located in the Eastern Sierras. The June Lake Marina was established in 1920 as a base for those sportsmen who found the lake to be the answer to a trout fisherman's dream. In the past, the Marina has hosted famous people such as
Actor Wallace Beery, who have enjoyed not only the excellent trout fishing, but also all this area had to offer the outdoor sportsman in the 1920s and still does today. It has been enhanced just enough to satisfy the needs of today's sportsman. The June Lake Marina maintains an excellent beach for swimming, sailing and wind-sailing. We have aluminum rental boats with Honda 4-stroke outboard motors as well as 20'-24' pontoon boats with Honda and Yamaha 4-stroke motors. We also provide launching facilities, docking for boats up to 24 feet, and a complete bait and tackle shop. The fishing season runs from the last Saturday of April through the last Sunday in October.
