First job using the new Rottler machine here at Rev-Tec.
Heads needed a little love. So we done some welding then gave them a fresh haircut. Some final cleanup in chambers and the Will be good as new!!!

I’m running behind on updates, Sorry

As an engine builder we all want to be able to make post about how well our equipment done or finished. A lot of people don’t want to mention the bad side or expensive side. Or even the embarrassing things.
As an engine builder I feel I owe it to my customers, current and future. To post the good and the bad.

Last Saturday Rev-Tec had an engine failure in the feature at Poplar Bluff Speedway.

After disassembling and an inspection. I have concluded the engine failed due to a rod bolt failure.
We had 8 nights on this engine which put it right at 15 hours of run time (yes I have an hour meter on my engines lol)
As I said this was a lease engine, But with all the questions I have had about what happens if they blow up?
Here is what happened in this case. We pulled the engine out of the car, I told the driver not to be worried that I was mad as it was clearly a part failure and we went on about our day. There was no extra cost or charges for this blown up engine as there is no one to blame or try to blame as parts unfortunately do fail.
We will get it repaired and it will be ready to lease back out next season
