Ready to hit the road!

Had to fix some bad bodywork on this 65 Chevy Malibu, never know what your going to find once you start digging into it, had to do some metal repair to the bottom of the door where they just filled with filler. Once we fixed it right and straightened out the metal epoxy primer was layed down before the bodywork to ensure a long lasting finish. The bodywork was then worked and blocked with some 2k high build primer then put in the booth for spraying. The door was sealed then layed down a smooth base coat with our new system and 4 coats of clear to finish off the job. The clear was then blocked with 800 grit worked our way up to 2000 grit before buffing out the clear to a mirror finish. It is now ready to hit the shows once again without the embarrassing bubbles under the finish.

Hard hit on a difficult spot on this Chrysler 300 quarter panel, we were able to iron out the damage and save the panel without having to replace it.

The owner of this SS bought it straight off the showroom floor back in 2003, so you know he was devastated when he a had a minor collision with it, luckily we were able to source the rare factory front bumper and put this truck back to original condition.
