Sometimes the best products come from fixing things that annoy you.
Our new Switch-Pros SP9100 roll cage mount started with three frustrations we kept running into during installs.
First, most mounts lock you into one mounting position. We wanted the flexibility to run the panel with the offset facing up or down depending on the application. So we machined ours to do both.
Second, we wanted a clean way to route wiring into the cage without pinching or stressing wires. The mount thickness was designed specifically to provide clearance for hidden wire routing behind the panel and into the tube.
Third, we were tired of installs that required drilling and tapping holes. If the tap starts crooked, breaks, or the threads end up slightly off, things get frustrating quickly.
Our solution is a simple two-step install. We include the drill bit, then use a thread-forming TORX fastener that cuts its own threads as it's installed. No tapping. No broken taps. No fighting cross-threaded holes.
The result is a solid billet aluminum mount that's anodized black, installs cleanly, and comes in at a price point we're proud of.
This also completes our Switch-Pros mounting system. Pair it with our Switch-Pros brain module mount for a clean, organized installation from start to finish.
