Earlier this morning around 5:00 a.m., and the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company responded to a motor vehicle collision on I-95 Northbound at the exit for MD Route 152 (Mountain Road).

One person was evaluated by EMS and transported to a local hospital for further treatment.

Earlier this afternoon, responded to a motor vehicle collision with rescue at the intersection of Pulaski Highway (Route 40) and Mountain Road (Route 152).

Upon arrival, crews found two vehicles involved with one occupant trapped. Firefighters quickly stabilized the vehicle and extricated the patient.

A total of two patients were transported to area hospitals for treatment.

Between 7:30 p.m. last night and 4:00 a.m. this morning, volunteers responded to or assisted with nearly 30 calls for service throughout the Edgewood, Joppa, and Joppatowne communities.
Surrounding departments also responded to numerous calls in our area to assist with the high call volume.

Incidents included:

* Numerous arcing wire calls
* Trees and power lines down
* Outside fires
* Brush fires
* Trees into structures
* Reported structure fires
* Motor vehicle collisions
* Open water rescues
* Fire alarm activations
* Reported vehicle fires
* Medical assists
* Dumpster fires
* Carbon monoxide alarm activations
* Lightning strike investigations
