Hey gang, happy hump day!
Just wanted to share with everyone our latest project! So earlier this year I was surprised with an opportunity to have a truck in booth for the Mid America Truck Show, which I was very honored to be a part of that! So here it is!
2026 w990 52 flat top powered by a 565hp x15 Cummins 18speed trans and 3.25 Eaton rears with a stunning 3 color paint job from the factory! The truck showed up end of February and we thought why not let’s build it but do something a little outside the box on this one! So after a little drinking qnd dreaming my vision was clear! Let’s go for a walk I. The past and back to the future!
To start off Wes and the boys here at mhc kenworth Joplin body shop pulled the visor horns and cablights shaved and painted the roof an added a 1-5-1 bullet light package with 37” big bell trumpet horns rather than than the square factory horns! Then it was time to order some stainless! We went with. a rolled edge Colorado style stainless visor with a color matched back, stainless steel mitered end bumper with dark amber glass lenses and a set of cab sleeper and cowl panels all punched for double bulb lights and a stainless rear center panel all thanks to Jeff for providing us parts on such notice that are actually first of their kind . Moving on to the lights and door handle trims I reached out to my brothers on the other side of the pond for the coolest sealed double bulb lights on the market and bezels they looked as factory as they come but as you can see they are by far the brightest in the business and the stainless steel chromed door handle trims fit like a glove and were a great addition to add a classic look thank you and with you guys are the best! We added some ex low blind mount 304 grade 1/2 fenders a Merritt deck plate painted in the center with recessed airline box and a set of 5”flat top stacks tickling 13’6” high! Tossed in a new matteress to mak her comfy sleeping thanks to !
And for hauling it.
Just wanted to say thank you to all who helped out and I think she’s ready for a new home!
