Did you know? π¨ π»
The color of the smoke coming from your semi can point to what's going wrong under the hood. Black, blue, white, or gray, each one means something different. If you see colored smoke, especially a lot of it, don't wait. Catching it early can save you from a bigger repair (and a bigger bill).
β« Black: Burning too much fuel (clogged air filter, bad injectors, turbo trouble)
π΅ Blue: Burning oil (worn piston rings, valve seals)
βͺ White: Coolant or water in the combustion chamber (head gasket, cracked block). In cold weather it can just be condensation.
π Gray: Possible transmission problem, overheating, or timing issues
Seeing smoke? Bring it to Open Bay Truck Repair and we'll diagnose it. π§
