I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who helped us for this years Appalachian Mountain Speed Week tour. Unfortunately the weather did not fully cooperate and only four of the scheduled seven events were run. Of those four events we had two top 2 finishes, set overall quick time, collected a hard charger award and finished 5th in the tour points so we are definitely proud of our showing.
I cannot say thank you enough to everyone who helped us out during this 9 day stretch on the road, including:
- Scott and Marilou for all their hard work which definitely involved some blood and sweat (but thankfully no tears)
- my parents Wayne and Nancy for all their prep work at home
- Bryan (Lazer Chassis) for literally welding us a new front end on the last Saturday morning otherwise we would not have been able to continue
- Brandon and John (Lazer Chassis Racing/ DMB Motorsports) for all their help during the week
- Jim (Bernheisel Race Components) and his team for putting on another great tour for everyone
- Dustin and Ryan at American Racer (Lias Tire Racing Division) for their advice
- Drew at Focus Shock Technologies for our solid shock setups
- All of our friends and fans cheering us on watching on FloRacing
We couldn't do this without a strong team and this trip showed that we definitely have one!
