We are super excited to have the Snowden Racing ProCharged billet LS engine named as Engine of the Week by Engine Builder Magazine. As mentioned in the article, they had a great season winning 5 of 5 heads up races and 2nd place in Nitro Dave’s Clash of the Titans in the 4.50ish class. All this was accomplished in Kane Snowden's rookie season. Best of luck for the rest of the 2026 race season and let's see if we can't parlay today's award into Engine of the Year.

Jake and his 2007 Corvette
Jake’s 2023 Corvette came with a GM package to a road race class in Las Vegas. He was hooked and has been stepping up his game ever since with more training and vehicle upgrades for his 2007. He got his license last year and plans to hit a lot of Grid Life events starting in June at Gingerman Raceway.
Being an intense competitor, Jake wanted his engine purpose-built for serious road racing, run E85, deliver more power and be durable.
His 427ci LS includes a Dart aluminum block, Dailey 5-stage dry sump, Callies Magnum crank and Ultra rods, 10cc domed Diamond LS2K pistons, a COMP mechanical cam with 0.904” lifters, titanium intake valves in the All Pro heads along with Jesel shaft rockers. He went with our custom billet intake for hood clearance, performance and awesome good looks.
Rotating assembly balance is key to high rpm operation. Jake’s crank needed weight added. This is accomplished by replacing slugs of the steel counterweights with a much denser material known as Mallory.
We ran with dyno with a shop intake manifold as Jake’s was still in transit.
Eight hundred fifty-four horse ought to get Jake around the track pretty well. Have a great season!

This Whipple supercharged LS had its day on the dyno and quickly pushed out three consecutive pulls that were dead overlays. We do multiple pulls after tuning is completed in order to ensure that the rings have seated properly. How do we achieve such exceptional results? Ring quality, break-in oil and hone finish. The rings are Total Seal and we use Maxima’s specially formulated break-in oil. Hone finish is thanks to our Rottler CNC diamond hone with surface finish targeting Total Seal’s direction for the application. The hone itself is capable of extreme precision and can deliver the exact dimensions and surface finish which we confirm by profilometer.

Craig's LS Swapped Ultima GTR
How nice. A beautiful sports car for quiet drives from the manor through the English countryside. Wrong! This is a statement piece meant to be driven, hard.
It is an LS7 powered Ultima GTR with custom body mods developed in 2010 by a good friend of Craig’s who, sadly, recently passed.
Craig completed building the current version over 10 years ago. He recently decided to step up his game to 1,000 horsepower. His plan was a CNC-machined, custom-built, LS long block made with premium parts paired with a Harrop 2650 supercharger.
We are thrilled that he chose Borowski Race Engines for the long block.
The precision of our CNC diamond hone finish is visually apparent with its perfect crosshatch pattern.
The short block foundation is a Dart LS Next aluminum block. The rotating assembly has Callies crank and rods with Mahle pistons. The heads are Dart LS7’s that we machined from porter castings on our 5-axis. The hydraulic roller valve train features a COMP Cam, their shaft rockers and titanium intake valves. The heads are secured with P1 Manufacturing studs.
Can't wait to see Craig in action with his 1,000 horsepower flying around the track!

We are thrilled to have been part of this "WORLD'S FASTEST CORVETTE" success story. 280 mph in a standing mile is amazing! Congratulations to Kelly, Kelly Bise Racing and M2K Motorsports for this great achievement. Kelly's C6 is powered by a Borowski 427ci, turbocharged LS. On May 2, 2026, Kelly Bise pushed his M2K Motorsports-built 2009 Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06 deeper into the history books at the ECTA Motorsports Arkansas Mile, ripping off an unbelievable 280 MPH pass and officially claiming the title of the world’s fastest Corvette in the standing mile.

The car continues to evolve, but so does Kelly’s driving. Every new pass seems to reset expectations for what a C6 Corvette can do when the combination is right.

Our billet LS engines were forces to be reckoned with last year. We use Energy tall deck LS blocks with 2.75 inch mains. This bumps crank stiffness 25% thereby extending engine longevity and max boost.
Taylor Wright had a great opening season in his turbocharged CTSV.
Geoffrey Shelton hit new PB’s on his Foxbody’s first day of track testing.
Callies just advised we’ll have the matching billet crank within 3 weeks. We also have a 2.75 main iron Dart LSN2 block available for a build as a 427.
