Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us here at JATS Transmissions. Remember Jesus is the reason for the Season. We will be closed December 27th through December 31st and reopen Monday January 3, 2022

Maintenance tip: Remember to have your cooler lines checked by your mechanic when you have your vehicles inspected. Avoid a costly transmission failure by replacing rusted out cooler lines. Call us at 814 288 1537 for cooler line replacements.

For consumers out there with Car Shield extended warranties: Car Shield has partnered with ASE. Unless a shop is affiliated with ASE Car Shield will not authorize a shop to do work on your vehicle. ASE charges high fees for membership with little to offer their members. JATS Transmissions dropped their membership with them years back. Budget Transmission also is no longer an ASE member. So please be aware that in the Johnstown area there is not a transmission shop to take your vehicles to if you have a Care Shield Extended warranty. I questioned them as to where I am to tell their insured's to take their vehicles and they said to have them call the number on their warranty papers and they will let them know the name of the a ASE repair shop. Another fleecing of their customers!
