Happy 6 Years on YouTube to Green Mountain Sandblasting & Powder Coating LLC! 🎉
Six years ago, we started our YouTube channel with one simple goal — to teach people about Powder Coating. Over the years, it has evolved into so much more. Today, we teach Sandblasting, Powder Coating, restorations, equipment setups, project walkthroughs, and real-world industry experience from right here in Northern Vermont.
When we first started, our goal was just 100 subscribers. Today, we’ve reached 1,565 subscribers. In the grand scheme of YouTube that may not seem huge, but for a small Vermont company out of Johnson, Vermont, it means the world to us.
What truly amazes me is how far this journey has reached. We’ve had subscribers and customers send projects from all over the country — California, Minnesota, Tennessee, Florida, and beyond. We’ve also had people from all around the world reach out to us through Facebook and YouTube asking Powder Coating and Sandblasting questions or asking about blasting larger projects and equipment.
We’ve talked with people from places like Indonesia and the United Kingdom, and we even had the opportunity to do an interview with a company out of Hawaii about Powder Coating.
We’ve also been honored to collaborate with incredible people and companies in the industry like:
- Jacob Vaillancourt, cofounder of 10X Engineered Materials out of Wabash, Indiana
- Bob and Bobby Nash from Greener Blast Technologies in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts
To have companies and people like this come up to our small shop in Johnson, Vermont while passing larger shops along the way honestly blows my mind.
Now, 7 years in business and 6 years on YouTube later, I can honestly say we’ve had an incredible ride so far, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
We’ve been truly blessed with amazing customers, an incredible community, and opportunities we never imagined when we first uploaded our videos.
