Friday is your day to actually improve your riding and master the South Course at VIR at the same time. It's going to be a little hot, but the classroom will be nice and cool. The day includes eight twenty minute sessions on track, six twenty minute sessions in the classroom, and a track walk at the end of the day. Just go to https://ridepre.com/events/ and select the track day on Friday, July 17. You can then add the VIR South master class and at no additional charge. This is the best value in expert instruction you're likely to find anywhere!

What could be better than a track day at beautiful Virginia International Raceway’s South Course. With a combination of a high-speed front straight, a high speed back straight with a fast kink, a corkscrew, a series of on camber, off camber, and blind turns, and over 80’ of elevation change, this is one of the most technical tracks in the Southeast. If you can learn to go fast at VIR’s South Course, you can go fast anywhere! Novice and Intermediate group riders should take advantage of our free classroom instruction on Friday. Did you know that Carolina Motorsports Park now has Airfence provided by PRE? Actually it's Alpina brand, but it's very similar to what we call Airfence dog boxes. We also built a trailer with a very generous donation of fabrication and parts from Kaufman Trailers to store it in, and to make it easier to deploy. It's available for anyone to use at no cost. If you ride with PRE we will be using it every time. If you ride with someone else please encourage them to use it. And don't forget the PRE fundraiser July 18 at VIR South. What time is it? It's time for the PRE Track Days Annual Airfence Fundraiser at VIR South, July 18 at 6:30 pm. Even if you can't ride you are welcome to attend. We are in need of people that can help with this event, and there are many different ways you can contribute both big and small. We are looking for people to help serve dinner, provide side dishes and desserts, and provide auction items. For the Ducati fans we have a very nice auction item this year.
