It has come to our attention that Petersen tire, in Blanco and Johnson city, are the only ones serving Blanco county for inspections. Not only do we serve Blanco county but we also do Kerr, comal, hays, Kendall, Gillespie and burnet countys. Average wait times have increased to 45mins the middle 2 weeks and between 1-2 hours the first and last weeks of the month.. we do not do “quick” inspections.. they take 15 mins usually and and up to 30mins if we have to fix lights/wipers or other things .. you have 90 days prior to your inspection running out to get it done.. we are first come first serve . we do not take appointments but you can drop them off and we can squeeze them in… we do inspections from 8-4:30 m-f and in Blanco 8-11:30 on Saturday.. plz plan ahead and be prepared to wait.. thank you for your patience..
