Quick detour in the Silverado series. While washing the truck, I wiped down the rear license plate lights and they literally fell apart in my hand 🤡.
Twenty years of brittle plastic will do that. No drama though. I ordered new ones and I'm installing them for the customer at no charge before the truck goes back.
Stuff like this is just part of doing the job right, and we'd rather catch it and fix it than hand it back pretending it never happened.
