We just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and supported our car show today! Between everyone who entered their vehicles, bought tickets, donated, helped out, donated door prizes and auction items, or simply came out to support us — we appreciate every single one of you.

Together, we were able to raise $483 for the family we chose to help! ❤️

For our first car show, we couldn’t be happier with how everything came together. It was amazing seeing the community show up and help us turn a fun day into something that could make a difference for a local family.

A special thank you to all of the businesses and individuals who donated, everyone who volunteered their time, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make today possible. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.

This is exactly what we want Wi***es Garage to be about — cars, community, and helping our neighbors when we can.

Thank you all again, and we hope to see everyone back at the next one! ❤️🏁

❤️ MEET THE FAMILY WE’RE SUPPORTING ❤️

We received several nominations for local families going through incredibly difficult times, and our hearts truly go out to every single one of them. There was no way we could personally choose one family over another, so we put all of the nominated families into a random drawing and let chance make the decision for us.

The family randomly selected was Trevis Bassett and his family.

Earlier this year, Trevis was taken to the hospital with stroke-like symptoms. Testing revealed a large tumor in his frontal lobe, and he was ultimately diagnosed with Stage 4 glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.

Trevis underwent a 5-hour surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible and is now facing chemotherapy, radiation, and the fight of his life.

During this time, Trevis is unable to work. He and his wife run their own business together, and she is caring for him throughout his treatment. Those who know Trevis describe him as a hardworking family man who goes above and beyond for his children, grandchildren, wife, and clients.

❤️ Today, our community gets the opportunity to stand behind Trevis and his family.

All proceeds from today’s car show will go directly to the Bassett family to help them during this fight.

We want to thank everyone who nominated a family. Every story touched our hearts, which is exactly why we felt a random drawing was the fairest way to choose.

And thank you to everyone who entered the show, donated, sponsored, volunteered, bought tickets, or simply came out to support us. This is what community is all about — coming together to help one of our own.

Please keep Trevis and the entire Bassett family in your thoughts and prayers. 🙏❤️

Let’s show them just how strong our community can be.

CAR SHOW UPDATE ❤️

Today we will be drawing the family who will receive the proceeds from our car show this Saturday.

We had several families reach out or be nominated, and after hearing everyone’s stories, there is honestly no way we could sit down and decide that one family’s hardship is greater than another’s. Our hearts truly go out to every single family going through a difficult time. We wish we were able to help everyone.

Because of that, we are going to put all of the families’ names into a drawing, pray over them, and let the Lord guide us in choosing the family we will be helping. 🙏❤️

We also want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has already donated, shared the event, or helped us put this together. The support from our community has been incredible.

We are STILL accepting donations for the Chinese auction! If you, your business, or anyone you know would like to donate a gift card, basket, item, service, or anything else, please reach out. It is definitely not too late!

Everything comes together THIS SATURDAY, and we’re hoping to make a real difference for a local family.

Thank you all for helping us make this possible. ❤️

❤️ WE’RE LOOKING FOR A LOCAL FAMILY TO HELP! ❤️

As part of the Wi***es Garage Car Show, we want to give back to a local family who could really use a helping hand.

We haven’t received any nominations yet, so we’re asking our community for help finding the right family.

If you know a local family going through a difficult time or that could use some extra support, please send the Wi***es Garage page a PRIVATE MESSAGE with their name and a little bit about their situation.

Please do not post anyone’s personal situation in the comments. We want to handle this respectfully and privately.

Our goal with this car show isn’t just to bring out some awesome cars it’s to bring the community together and make a difference for one of our own. ❤️

Please share this post so we can reach the right family!

We’re excited to announce that 100% of the proceeds from our Chinese auction will go directly to a local family in need!
We are currently accepting:
• Private nominations for a local family experiencing a serious hardship, illness, loss, fire, or another difficult situation.
• Donations from businesses and community members, including gift certificates, products, services, gift baskets, or other auction items.
Please send all family nominations privately to the Wi***es Garage page. Do not tag families or share their personal information publicly. All nominations will remain confidential, and the selected family will be contacted before their name or story is shared.
Every business that donates will be recognized on our business page and at the event. Any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated!
Let’s put on an awesome car show and come together to help a family right here in our community! Please message Wi***es Garage to nominate a family or donate an auction item.
