🔧 Porsche Gold Coast Classic Challenge | June Update

Another month, another step closer to bringing our 2009 Porsche Cayenne GTS back to its former glory.

This month's progress:
🔋 Installed a new battery
⚙️ Replaced the engine drive belt
🛑 Performed a complete brake fluid flush and brake system bleed

These essential maintenance items help ensure this future classic is ready for the road while preserving the performance Porsche is known for.

🎖GT3 (992.2): 1:24.639 - 1.8 seconds quicker than the previous generation.​

This is what happens when uncompromising performance meets the precision of haute couture. Born from the Porsche Sonderwunsch programme - Porsche's most exclusive personalisation offering - this 911 GT3 RS is a true one-of-one, co-created with its owner in Zuffenhausen.​
The exterior wears a deep Macadamia Metallic from the Paint to Sample range, paired with carbon fibre components finished with an exclusive brown-tinted clear coat developed solely for this build. Orange Porsche lettering and Pastelorange headlight accents add a measured warmth against the restrained palette.​

Step inside, and the same philosophy continues - Truffle Brown leather, Race-Tex surfaces, and orange contrast stitching come together in a cabin that is as carefully considered as the exterior. Every detail carries the signature of Porsche's master craftspeople.​

Forever Young. Celebrating Transaxle.​

Half a century. Nearly 400,000 vehicles. Four model lines that rewrote what a Porsche could be.​

From 1976 to 1995, the 924, 928, 944 and 968 carried the Transaxle principle into the world - engine at the front, transmission at the rear, balance as the philosophy. It wasn't just an engineering choice. It became a generation's introduction to the Porsche experience.​

The Porsche Museum is honoring these icons with a series of pop-up installations throughout 2026, capturing the neon energy and technological optimism of the 1980s era that defined them.​

At Porsche Gold Coast, we hold this chapter close. These are the cars that brought many of our customers into the Porsche family - and their spirit is still very much alive on the Gold Coast roads.​
