Pretty good idea

Bolt in bearings! Such a simple solution to a large problem. Never spin a bearing ever again! We modify bearings to accept a countersunk bolt that fixes the bearing to the block as well as the rods.
Under high power and stress blocks move around, rods stretch and that can allow bearings to lose the crush that holds them in.
Keep it simple
