Meet Jett, our furry friend Friday for this week. His parents are Cindy and Ron Fennell, who are tenants ✨
He is a 5 month old German Shepherd but Czech working line. He is also one of the laziest puppies we have met 😬 He likes to spend his day barking at nothing but other dogs, bothering his mom while she works from home, and bringing her his food bowl when he's done with his meal 😌 He is 10/10 a good boy 🖤

💙 A Message from Island View

This is a post we never wanted to have to make.

Over the years, we've welcomed people to enjoy our beach and beautiful property because we wanted Island View to be a place where families and friends could make memories together. Unfortunately, due to repeated disrespect for our property, our rules, and the privilege of being allowed access, we have made the difficult decision to close our property to public beach access.

Effective immediately, Island View is open only to our registered tenants and those using our boat launch.

We kindly ask that you do not tailgate another vehicle through our gate or attempt to drive around the gate to enter the property. We have security cameras and on-site security monitoring the property at all times. Anyone entering without authorization will be considered trespassing, and law enforcement will be contacted.

This decision truly breaks our hearts because we know so many wonderful people have enjoyed spending time here. Unfortunately, the actions of a few have made it impossible for us to continue allowing public access.

As we head into the busy July 4th weekend, we ask for your understanding and your respect for our property and the rules we've put in place. Our goal has always been to provide a safe, clean, and enjoyable place for our guests, and these changes are necessary to help us do that.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Island View and treated it like their own. We truly appreciate you and look forward to continuing to serve our amazing tenants and visitors using our boat launch.

We will not be having a Fireworks show this year. Lake O' the Pines, Texas • Chamber is currently waiting on a permit to have one at Lakeside. They will make a post once the permit is received and I will then share it on our page as well. Stay tuned!!

We would like to present Roscoe and Leroy. Roscoe, being a Golden Doodle, exhibits affection by biting onto one's shirt or hand; whichever he can get his mouth on first.
Leroy, with his Red Heeler breed, might display a tough exterior, aka resting dog face. Yet he is gentle. Both of these charming dogs belong to Amanda and Todd Winn.
