PUBLIC NOTICE — PLEASE READ
Old Souls is a motorcycle repair shop, NOT a motorcycle dealership.
From time to time, we allow our location to be used as a point-of-sale location when someone is selling their motorcycle privately. When this happens, the sale is strictly between the private seller and the buyer. Old Souls is not the seller, owner, dealer, or a party to the transaction.
Our role is simply to provide a safe location where the potential buyers can meet, inspect the motorcycle, complete their paperwork, and conduct the transaction.
The buyer and private seller are responsible for negotiating the price, inspecting the motorcycle, reviewing the title and paperwork, asking questions, and agreeing to the terms of the sale. Any money exchanged for the motorcycle is paid directly to the private seller.
If you purchase a motorcycle from a private individual at our location, that does not make Old Souls the seller or dealership. We do not take ownership of the motorcycle, receive the purchase money as the seller, or guarantee the motorcycle’s condition, history, title status, or any representations made by either party.
We strongly encourage every buyer to thoroughly inspect the motorcycle, review the title and paperwork, verify the title status, ask questions, and make sure they are completely comfortable with the transaction BEFORE signing anything or exchanging money.
Once a buyer has had the opportunity to inspect the motorcycle, review the paperwork and title, ask questions, and voluntarily completes the purchase, Old Souls is not responsible simply because the buyer later discovers something they did not notice, failed to investigate, or did not ask about before completing the transaction.
If a buyer chooses to purchase a motorcycle without conducting a thorough inspection or verifying information before the sale, that is a decision made between the buyer and private seller. Old Souls cannot be held responsible for a buyer’s failure to perform their own due diligence or for dissatisfaction with the motorcycle after the transaction has been completed.
If you have a dispute concerning the motorcycle, purchase price, condition of the motorcycle, title, or representations, your dispute is with the private seller not Old Souls.
We are happy to provide a place for people to conduct legitimate private-party transactions, but the transaction itself is between the buyer and the private seller.
Thank you for understanding and respecting the distinction between our role as a repair shop and the role of the actual parties to a private sale.
