After a long weekend, and a long year without our truck, we got the engine back into the Avalanche. Now to reconnect the exhaust, and start putting everything back on.

Today's progress update: replaced the headlight buckets on the van, and the avalanche got a new trans mount while we got the lifters, push rods, cylinder heads and rocker arms installed. Next up is the torque procedure for the rockers, valve covers, then final prep to mate back up to the trans.

Oil pump, pickup tube, windage tray, and oil pan installed.

Yesterday we got the new timing kit installed on the avalanche.

We've been busy this week at the shop working on the Avalon. Replaced outer tie rods, control arms, away bar links, radiator, water pump and houses, thermostat and housing, a couple AC lines, and the driver side steering knuckle, wheel bearing and CV axle.

Today we did a tune-up, output shaft speed sensor, and throttle position sensor on the Durango, as well as changed the alternator in Grandpa Ricardo's Corolla.
