When this RAM 5500 with 6.7L Cummins came in running hotter than it should, we tracked the issue down to a failed belt tensioner at the water pump causing the cylinder head gasket to leak. The good news? The cylinder head itself passed testing with flying colors - no damage done. We replaced the head gasket, buttoned everything back up, and had this workhorse back on the road and ready for duty in no time.
