Business has been picking up at D.O.P. this spring!!! This is a CFMoto 300SS/NK full performance cylinder head I just finished building for a customer in KC Missouri. I'll be hitting the road about 1am tomorrow morning for mobile installation, replace the entire timing area, and replace the fork seals. Yes, it's going to be a drive. But, when I say I offer mobile services, I mean I will literally drive anywhere to personally work on your bike, for a mutually agreed travel expense fee.
As for the head, as mentioned, all of the intake and exhaust ports had majority of the casting marks removed, and all sharp and rough edges were smoothed out to enhance flow and intake charge. And like I did on my personal bike, this head features Kibblewhite White Diamond stainless steel valves, and Kibblewhite titanium double spring intake and exhaust springs, with titanium retainers. I went ahead and replaced the valve seals as well. They had no indications of leaking, but I was already in there, so replaced them, too.
While this upgraded head won't make crazy big gains number wise. Where it will shine, is the enhanced fluent flow of the intake charge and exhaust gasses. And, the upgraded valve train will eliminate the terrible valve float that starts occurring around 5,500 RPM's caused by the cheap Chinese valve springs. So, what does all of that mean? With the enhanced flow of the ports, and eliminating valve float, the engine is able to run at maximum efficiency, allowing the engine to rev and accelerate faster, from increased timing accuracy, and the valves themselves fully opening and closing with each stroke cycle.
