What a beautiful day for racing! ☀️ 7th Annual Don Gumke Racers' Memorial is tonight, June 6th at 7 PM. Some quick things happening tonight:

- 💥𝐈𝐌𝐂𝐀 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝𝐬: 💥 Racing for $2,222 to win, $1,222 for 2nd, increased purse throughout the field, $166 to start in memory of Terry Voeltz, $222 for hard charger in feature (thank you Dakota Engines), $122 for long tow, and more contingency awards. ALSO NEW GUMKE MEMORIAL STICKERS TOO!

- 📣 𝐁𝐎𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐒: 📣 We will do a meet and greet in front of the stands from 6:00 to 6:30 PM tonight in memory of Larry Christensen. Please come up front prior to the races to show off your cars. visit with the fans, and bring goodies to give out to the youngsters. ALSO, increased purse tonight for the Bombers courtesy of Innovative Siding, Windows, and Remodeling

- 🎉𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬: 🎉 Drivers, pit crew members, volunteers, and family members of everyone that is being honored through the Gumke Memorial, please come out and line the top of the track around 6:50-6:55 PM this evening. We will be honoring our fallen racing community members with some pre-race ceremonies.

- 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤: Construction is happening on 4th Avenue NW, which is the road behind the track leading up the hill to the Speedway. That road is CLOSED. When coming to the track tonight, please follow 33rd Street to the track or follow the bi-pass on Highway 281 to come from the West behind the track.

It's Race Day & Beautiful Weather to Celebrate the Legacy of many around the Jamestown community. We are super excited for the 7th Annual Don Gumke Racers' Memorial tonight at 7 PM at the Jamestown Speedway presented by Wilhelm Chevrolet GMC’s North Star Buick & GMC Dealers and I-29 Trailer Sales. Along with a big night for the IMCA Modifieds, all regular classes will be running and we will honor Terry Voeltz, Doug Gumke, and Larry Christensen tonight.

Tomorrow is the 7th Annual Don Gumke Racers' Memorial - June 6th starting at 7 PM! Increased payout for IMCA Modifieds and Bombers for tomorrow night and racing in memory of some great individuals that we lost too soon in the racing community.

Check out this awesome highlight video of last year’s Gumke Memorial IMCA Modified feature. Unfortunately, Dacotah Speedway TV is not able to be there tomorrow night so no live stream for this event in 2026. However, we may have a special guest doing videos for us tomorrow night. 😁

We have had a great car count in the Bombers to start the season and hope everyone from the neighboring tracks will come out and support this great event hosted by Brandon Vetter, Brent Vetter, and the entire Vetter family in memory of their mother. Come out this Saturday for the Don Gumke Racers' Memorial and get your cars ready for the Mary Vetter Challenge in the Bombers/Hobby Stocks. Race fans and drivers, the Saturday, June 6th, we will honor Don Gumke and his legacy throughout the racing community. This great segment by Midco Sports from the inaugural Don Gumke Memorial in 2020 really highlights this event well and Don’s impact in racing around the area and country. We miss you Don!

IMCA Modifieds will be racing for $2,222 to win, $1,222 for second, and $166 to start in memory of Terry Voeltz and his car number of #66 as we unfortunately lost Terry this past season. Come on out this weekend to celebrate these great individuals with some great racing.
