Hi Everyone! We are caught up with all of the contingency awards from the 55th Annual Jamestown Stock Car Stampede. First off, we have to send a huge thank you to all of the drivers that participated and raced last weekend with the tough weather forecast and all of the fans that enjoyed the Stampede. We are already looking forward to the 2027 racing season and the 56th Annual Jamestown Stock Car Stampede scheduled for September 24th and 25th, 2027 (Labor Day is late in 2027 - September 6th). Also, be on the lookout for our 2026 Track Banquet date as details will be announced soon.

Race fans and drivers, we are so thankful for all the support last weekend for the Stock Car Stampede in Jamestown! We battled through the weather and had a fun weekend and checks will be issued next week. The racing community is truly the best.

HOWEVER, the racing isn’t over around the region as it is a Beautiful weekend to head outdoors and enjoy some great racing action at a neighboring track.

Great images and it is always special to see all of the people and activities throughout the Jamestown community during the Stampede weekend. P.S. Stay tuned as we will announce the drivers that will get extra cash prizes for long tow, hard charger in the features, and pre-entry registration awards later this week. Also, we have began working on the Stampede checks and will post once those are processed and sent out in the mail. We are working through all of the added prize money from the Stampede weekend and winterizing the track, so we will issue then in October after getting everything finalized.

Race fans and drivers, we received the bad news on Saturday night and couldn’t believe it until we saw it was confirmed today. Layne was such a joy to be around at the Jamestown Speedway. We remember him rooming around the pits on his side-by-side or 4 wheeler getting pit reports or updates from the drivers. The days of Bernie, Charlie, and Layne were super special back in the late 90s to 2000s. We will miss you Layne and please RIP.

Congratulations to the 55TH ANNUAL JAMESTOWN STOCK CAR STAMPEDE Wissota Late Model Champion Dustin Strand (4-time Stock Car Stampede Champion) and runner-up Tyler Peterson (National Point Leader). It was a great race in the Wissota Late Model feature event and they were flying around the 1/4 mile. Tough break for Billy Kendall who cut down a tire while leading the feature event.

Congratulations to the 55TH ANNUAL JAMESTOWN STOCK CAR STAMPEDE INEX Legends Champion Preston Martin (1st Stampede Win!) and runner-up Ty Olson. Lots of 3 and 4 wide battles throughout the beginning of this race. Also, a terrible crash with only a few laps remaining that resulted in Austin Wiest rolling several times and 6 cars being taken out. Good news, Austin is doing ok, but probably be a little sore in the coming days.

Billie is ok, but likely to be sore after that one.

Congratulations to the 55TH ANNUAL JAMESTOWN STOCK CAR STAMPEDE IMCA Modified Champion Travis Hagen (1st Stampede Win!) and runner-up John Nord. WHAT A GREAT RACE! Travis Hagen made the pass for the win with 2 laps to go and the leaders were slicing and dicing through heavy lap traffic.
