Well the Maine Event at 207 isn’t for the weak!
This weekend was a little bit about overall finishes, and a lot about learning to preserve through the struggles.
Day 1 brought a couple wipe outs, a blown clutch, and some fast competition. Blake came to a place of choosing to give up since the overalls were out of the question, or finishing what he started. Luckily his mental toughness came through, and he went back at it for day 2.
Day 2 brought some better finishes, a stronger mindset and the same fast and fierce competitors.

Blake left the Maine Event with:
85 age, 6th overall
85 open, 9th overall

We are proud he stuck with it. He pushed himself very far out of his comfort zone, and he didn’t give up. And sometimes that’s enough.

Blake had an awesome day hill climbing at the Colin Krenzel Memorial Race in Monson, MA.
Blake was once again honored to run the #170 (Colin’s memorial 85 bike) in the 85 age and Supermini class.

Saturday:
Supermini 1-1
85 1-5 (flat tire in moto 2 took him back to last place)

Sunday:
85 1-1
Supermini 1-1
Schoolboy 5-3

We are so proud of him and how far he has come this year. Here’s to the rest of the season!

Today got to put on a show at the Gunstock Hillclimb during Laconia Bike Week.
He had such a blast, and was honored to ride the #170 in honor of Colin again. Special thanks goes out to Justin and Brandy Linde for inviting Blake to join in on today’s fun.

In front of a crowd, Blake was able to take home the 1st Place in Mini Senior as well as 1st Place in the 250 Class (a class that 12 year old boy had no business riding in 🤣 sorry gentleman!)

It was an absolute blast to be a part of such a huge event.

took on the mud at WSP yesterday! Took home the 1st overall in Supermini and in 85 age. The mud eats some people alive but mud racing has always been one of Blake’s favorites. Nice solid run, now on to the next.

This weekend took on the Wick for the Massachusetts state challenge. The competition was fierce to say the least.
After a little bit of trial and error Blake found his groove and held steady in the top 5 for all of his motos. Consistency is key especially in the two day format!
Blake walked away with 2nd overall in the 85 age, and 3rd overall in the 85 open. We are so proud of how hard he worked!
