All lanes on E. Morton Ave. at Mobil Road heading west into Jacksonville have been reopened.

In addition, I-72 Westbound from Exit 68 (Prison Exit) to Exit 64 (South Jacksonville/Love’s) is now clear and open to traffic.

We currently have crews working two separate semi rollover incidents:

📍 I-72 Westbound just west of Exit 68 (Prison Exit)

Please use caution when approaching these areas. Slow down, move over for emergency and recovery personnel, and be prepared for traffic delays.

UPDATE 12:15PM - 72 is BACK OPEN

⚠️ ROAD CLOSURE ALERT ⚠️

Interstate 72 westbound is currently CLOSED from the Jacksonville Exit (Exit 60) to the Wi******er Exit due to an accident.

The closure is expected to remain in place for an extended period. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes and plan for significant delays in the area.

🔥 WOW. You all showed up on this one. 🔥

There were a TON of solid guesses on that lift. Several of you were within 1,000 pounds.

The total weight on our onboard scale was 36,728 lbs, and our winner was only 228 pounds off! Basically a rounding error at that size lift.
