Interior deep clean in St. Johns — 32259 — and the smell had a source nobody knew about.
The client came in with an odor complaint. During the detail we found standing liquid sitting in the spare tire compartment underneath the cargo floor. That is not just a musty smell — that is active contamination working its way through the interior from a source that was completely out of sight.
We treated the seats and carpets for the stains and contamination throughout the cabin. The client is finishing the job at home tonight with an odor bomb to let it treat the full interior overnight.
This is the correct approach. Find the actual source. Treat the contamination. Then eliminate what remains. A deodorizer alone never fixes a smell like this — you have to go find where it is coming from first 🫧

Saturday at the Reformed Image Detailing Academy — Clay County Jail in Green Cove Springs — and this session the students got to work on a brand new vehicle.
White paint was the perfect canvas to show something most people never think about. Watch the iron remover react on that fresh paint — the purple bleed you see is embedded iron contamination on a car that has never been professionally decontaminated. New vehicles sitting on dealer lots collect rail dust, industrial fallout, and airborne iron particles before they ever reach the owner. That contamination does not go away on its own.
Iron remover to chemically dissolve the contamination. Clay bar to physically lift what remains. Then a Hyper Clean Uno one year ceramic coating applied over a properly prepared surface.
Students completed the full job in great time with outstanding results. Real skills. Real product. Real results 🫧

Brand new Jeep Wrangler — and it left our care protected the way it should have left the dealership.
3 year ceramic coating applied to the paint and we went a step further with Solution Finish on every piece of black plastic trim. Jeep Wranglers are known for that bold black trim and it is also one of the first things to fade and grey out from UV exposure without proper protection. Solution Finish penetrates the plastic and protects it from the inside out — keeping it looking deep and dark the way it does right now.
Ceramic coating on the paint. Solution Finish on the trim. This Wrangler is protected on every surface that matters from day one 🫧
The best time to protect a new vehicle is before the damage starts. Once the swirls are in the paint and the trim starts fading you are paying to restore what could have been protected for a fraction of the cost.

The complaint was a musty smell. The moisture test told the whole story.
Before any cleaning started we tested the carpets for moisture — and found it. Moisture trapped in carpet is one of the most common and most overlooked sources of that persistent musty smell that air fresheners and surface cleans never actually fix. You can mask it temporarily but until the contamination in the carpet is removed the smell comes back every time.
Chemical treatment was applied to the affected areas to break down the contamination sitting in the fibers. Then full extraction to pull everything out — the moisture, the chemical, and the source of the smell along with it.
This is the difference between treating a symptom and fixing the actual problem. A deodorizer is not a solution. Finding the source and removing it is 🫧

Headlight restoration — second time on these, and this time we addressed the root of the problem.
We did these headlights last November. Less than a year later they were starting to yellow again. That is the reality of a wipe on clear coat finish — it is a temporary solution that buys time but does not protect the lens long term against UV exposure and environmental oxidation.
This time we came back, polished out the sanding marks to restore proper optical clarity in the lens, and protected them with a 3 year ceramic coating.
Polishing the lens instead of relying on a wipe on clear produces a fundamentally better result. The clarity is deeper, the finish is cleaner, and the ceramic coating gives the lens real long term UV protection instead of a surface layer that breaks down in months.
The right process from the start saves you from doing it twice 🫧

The outside got a two step paint correction and ceramic coating last visit. This time it was all about the interior.
Before walkthrough first — so you can see exactly what we were dealing with. Then the steam cleaning process on a particularly bad area — steam to open up the fibers and break down what is bonded in, chemical treatment to target the contamination, and extraction to pull it all out of the upholstery.
Then the results.
This is what a proper interior deep clean looks like when all three tools are working together correctly. Steam alone does not do what steam plus chemistry plus extraction does. Each step builds on the last and the upholstery at the end reflects that.
The paint is corrected, coated, and protected. The interior is clean and extracted. This vehicle is now taken care of inside and out 🫧
