A leaking water pump can quickly lead to low coolant levels and overheating, so catching the leak early is important. We diagnosed the source of the leak and got the repair taken care of before it could turn into a much bigger problem.

This Porsche Macan S came in for routine service, and during the inspection we found a failed belt tensioner shock.

The worn tensioner was already causing noise and vibration, and if left alone, it could eventually fail and leave the vehicle stranded.

We recommended replacing the tensioner, pulleys, and belt together to address the issue properly and help prevent an unexpected roadside breakdown.

This 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan was towed in after a brake line blew, leaving the vehicle unable to safely drive.

After a quick inspection, we identified the issue, put together a quote, and got to work. Before long, this Tiguan was repaired and safely back on the road.

Brake issues are never something to put off. If you notice a soft brake pedal, loss of braking pressure, or any fluid leaking around the brakes, have it inspected right away.

This vehicle came in with an oil leak, but our inspection found several sources. The main leak was coming from the valve cover, which had also contributed to the water pump failure. We also found leaks at the lower timing cover, turbocharger oil drain hose, and oil filter housing.

Since the engine was already apart for the repairs, we took a proactive approach and replaced the original timing chains as well. With over 100k miles on the vehicle, it made sense to address them while we already had access.

Fixing the leaks is important, but sometimes the smartest repair is taking care of what is coming next while everything is already apart.

This Audi A4 came in with the check engine light on, so we performed a full diagnostic to find the cause.

We found a faulty Fuel Tank Leak Detection Module that was triggering the warning light. This module monitors the fuel system for leaks, so when it isn't working properly, the vehicle can set a fault and turn on the check engine light.

Another example of why it's important to diagnose the warning light instead of simply clearing the code and hoping it stays off. 😉

Coolant leaks should never be ignored. A small leak can quickly turn into an overheating issue and leave you with a much bigger repair.

This BMW X3 came to us for a pre-purchase inspection, and our inspection uncovered several things worth knowing before buying.

We found worn engine mounts, multiple oil leaks, and most importantly, a leaking A/C evaporator. The evaporator is buried inside the dashboard, making this a repair that could be easy to miss without a thorough inspection.

This is exactly why a PPI is worth doing before purchasing a vehicle, you want to know what you're getting into before you sign the paperwork.

This E350 came in blowing warm air, so we got to work diagnosing the A/C system.
Our technician found the A/C compressor wasn't engaging due to a failed electromagnetic clutch. Further testing confirmed the compressor was no longer pumping refrigerant properly.

The repair: a new A/C compressor and receiver dryer to get this E350 back to blowing cold air, just in time for Jacksonville heat. 🥵
