Somewhere out there, a Mopar purist just dropped their phone… yeah, that’s an LS1 in a Dodge Meadowbrook 😂
I tried to keep it stock for about 5 minutes… then I remembered I don’t like slow cars or boring decisions.
So here we are.
Big thanks to the guys at AJ Performance for helping turn this innocent little grocery getter into something that’s about to hurt a lot of feelings. Twin turbos coming in hot, and I’m pretty sure this thing’s gonna be faster than Walmart one-hour delivery—and way less reliable for your ego 💨

After going back and forth for a while, I finally figured out what seats are going where. It was a toss-up between Polaris seats and Miata seats, but I found the perfect combo.

The Polaris seats are going into the Manx “Soul Collector” — they fit the build perfectly. Tough, weatherproof, and ready for anything. They’ve got that rugged, off-road look that matches the Soul Collector’s attitude. 💀💪

And the Miata seats are going in the Bradley GT. They’re low, sleek, and sporty — exactly what that car deserves. Smooth lines meet comfort, justoki how the Bradley should be.

Little by little, every piece is falling into place. ⚙️🔥

New project in the shop!
Starting with a Manx-style dune buggy that’s getting stretched to fit a full-size VW Beetle pan. The goal is to turn it into a proper war bug — rugged, functional, and ready for anything.

Step one: mock-up and measurements.
Step two: cut, extend, and fiberglass

Stay tuned — this one’s going to be a fun transformation.

Decided to treat myself today and take a break from the Manx build… so naturally, I relaxed by dragging my Bradley GT frame out and working on that project instead. Because who needs beaches when you’ve got busted knuckles and brake dust? 🏖️🔧

Highlights of today’s “spa day”:

Frame dialed in tighter than my jeans after taco night 🌮👖

Bus trans shifting smoother than butter on hot cornbread 🧈🍞

MK4 rear disc brakes mounted—because stopping is occasionally important 🚦

Air ride suspension articulating like it’s auditioning for Cirque du Soleil 🤸‍♂️

Porsche Cayenne wheels flexing like “yep, I don’t belong here but I’m fabulous anyway” 💅🚗

1.8T engine standing by, sipping its tea like “so… when’s it my turn?” ☕👀

Still a marathon to go, but hey, if you don’t have at least two half-finished projects staring at you in the garage, are you even a car guy? 😂

The Manx's rear suspension has been officially dialed in. ✅💪

By installing Porsche 944 trailing arms with rear disc brakes and swapping in Bus-to-Bug output flanges for the 944 CV joints, the necessary clearance has been achieved without the need for spacers. Additionally, the transmission issue has been rectified through rod adjustment, enabling seamless shifting. This vehicle is progressively coming together.

Well…
I did the 5-inch narrow beam with shock towers.
I kept all the hardware just like factory.
I mounted 19x10s up front.
And guess what?
It turns all the way.

The only thing rubbing…
…is the sound of silence from the people who said it couldn’t be done." 😎🛠️

Operation Rust Warfare – Pedal Installation 🛠️🐞
Took a break from breaking concrete to install new iMohr pedals on the Manx.

4 hours of fighting 60-year-old rust (YouTube said 20 min… lies).
Weapons: PB Blaster, ball peen hammer, heat gun, voodoo spells, and one triple backflip.
Special thanks to John Hunt – The VW Bug Wizard for remote tech support and ancient VW secrets.

Result: Victory. Pedals in. Rust demons gone. Manx is ready to roll. 💪
