Today will be our last day hosting the food drive, and I just want to take a moment to say how grateful we are for everyone who came out and supported it. ❤️

Over the past several weeks we’ve had the chance to meet so many amazing people in our community. The conversations, the stories, and the relationships built have truly meant a lot to us. It reminded us how strong our community really is when people show up for one another.

A special thank you to the Fishnet Food Bank for donating the food. Thank you to everyone who was involved and stopped by, shared the information with others, or simply came out to get what they needed. We were happy to be a small part of helping connect resources to people in our area.

As we move forward, we’re excited about continuing to find ways to serve and connect with our community in new ways this year. This experience opened our eyes to just how many people are out there doing good and how many opportunities there are to make a difference.

If you haven’t stopped by you definitely missed out.

❤️ Happy Friday — last day of the week!

We’re still out here boots on the ground in the community.

What started as just a few simple good deeds has really turned into something bigger. Being out here, meeting people, hearing their stories, and seeing where the needs really are made us realize we couldn’t just stay behind the register anymore.

So we stepped out.

Macon Station isn’t just a gas station anymore — we’re trying to be a place where the community can come together and help each other.

We’re right here by the Air Force Base, and we’ve already been able to help so many great families, including a lot of veterans, which really means a lot to us.

Right now everything is high — groceries, gas, everything. So if we can help take a little pressure off someone’s week, that’s what we’re going to keep doing.

We’ll be at the store shortly and the truck should be here soon.

We will still be having the food giveaway today. It will be a little smaller than usual because we weren’t able to get as much food as we normally do, but we were still able to get some items.

🍽️ FRIDAY FOOD DRIVE – DON’T MISS TODAY ❤️

If you’ve been following us this week, you know we’ve been giving away some really good food. Every day we’ve been able to help families, and yesterday we were even able to help people take care of their pets with food for dogs and cats.

I remember growing up, my brother used to take food my mom had just bought and give it away to stray animals. My mom definitely wasn’t happy about that — there were five of us to feed. But that was just his heart. He was an animal lover. If he saw something hungry, he wanted to help.

The problem was that he would give so much food away that towards the end of the month things would start getting tight. Those big meals we were used to sometimes turned into simpler ones, and my mom would start stretching whatever we had left and making meals out of whatever was available.

That’s why this means so much to me.

I understand there are people on fixed incomes, people working hard to make things stretch, and people who just need a little extra help from time to time. If you can come out, please do. And if you can’t make it out but can send someone or arrange transportation, that’s okay too.

Trust me — if you come out here for even a week, the food we’ve been giving away can really help stretch your groceries for a long time.

Also, if you know someone elderly or someone on a fixed income who doesn’t have transportation to come get some of this food, please message me. I will make sure they’re able to get some. We will start helping with that as well. ❤️

❤️ Arkansas, today reminded me how much people are looking out for each other.

Today at our food drive we had our largest turnout yet — 70 families were able to receive food.

And what stood out to me the most wasn’t just the number of people… it was the heart of the community.

We had a lot of elderly people come through who truly appreciated being able to grab groceries. But something else that really touched me was how many people came not just for themselves, but for someone else.

Some were picking up food for a neighbor,
Some for an elderly family member,
Some for someone who couldn’t make it out.

That’s the kind of love and community you don’t always see on the news — but it’s happening every day right here.

Over these past weeks I’ve met so many amazing people with so many different stories, and being able to help even in a small way has truly been a blessing.

Groceries are expensive right now, and sometimes people just need a little help getting through the week.

If you ever come by while we’re doing a giveaway and you’re able to, grab something for someone else too.
An elderly neighbor.
A friend.
Someone who may not be able to get out.

That’s how communities stay strong.
