A few over due updates on the ‘66 SS
*Advanced Glass came thru with a new windshield
*most of the rear interior upholstery redone and installed
*New dash pad and trim installed
*trunk was cleaned out, wire brushed and coated

Day 7: mostly spent time cleaning /refreshing the gauges and dash
*Pulled the gauge cluster and bezel
*repaired/refinished bezel
*cleaned gauge cluster
*reinstalled bezel/cluster
*fixed factory tach
*installed new Steering wheel

Well, 💩!🤦‍♀️
Day 6 was supposed to be windshield trim and cowl /wipers buuuuut
When the car was painted, they didn’t replace the windshield clips before installing the new glass. I was able to get most of them in before tragedy struck 😔
Sometimes, even when being extra careful, accidents can still happen

Day 5ish? :
Refreshed the original center console.
Just a reminder when restoring one of these old cars: every piece that you don’t buy new will need cleaned/painted/refreshed. Sometimes that time outweighs the cost.
While this is far from a concours quality build, sometimes you have to do what you can with what you have.
