Just a heads up, I’ll be away from the shop Friday to Tuesday. I have to run to south Louisiana for a funeral. If you’d like to keep my aunt and cousins in your prayers they’d appreciate it. Her husband of 54 years passed away yesterday. Great guy, combat vet, hell of a shrimp and crawfish boiler. He’ll he missed. Ride safe everyone and enjoy the ride because our time will come.

Tomorrow July 4th, 2026, a number of my brothers and sisters as well as myself who have served our country, will ride out to the veterans home in North Little Rock. We will be serving the residents lunch. This is one of the ways CVMA gives back to the veteran community. The residents are all veterans who don’t have much family and enjoy the company plus it’s the 4th. If you don’t already have plans or just feel it necessary to give a few minutes to someone else on a day that means so much to us, meet us at 0930 at the Circle K, 12410 AR 5, Cabot, AR.

We will ride in and those who don’t or can’t ride you can follow us or meet us at the home. 2401 John Ashley Dr, North Little Rock, AR 72114

After lunch we will ride out to children’s hospital. One of our brothers daughter is in the burn unit. Apparently the hospital has mentioned to the children we will be there on bikes so if we could bring as many bikes as possible, they’d love that. If you’re interested in riding KSU from veterans home to children’s hospital is 1315 (1:15 pm)
