To our Mississippi Racing Vehicle Extravaganza family,
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every person who has participated, supported, attended, and believed in this event over the years. For 40 years, this show has been about more than cars. It has been about community, respect, and a shared love for something that brings us together.
It is with deep regret that I announce the conclusion of the Mississippi Racing Vehicle Extravaganza. Due to exceptionally high rental costs and security fees required by a state facility, one that should already be safe and secure, continuing the event is no longer financially possible.
For nearly four decades, we have never charged a single vehicle an entry fee. That was always important to me. The only thing we ever asked was the purchase of armbands to help cover the cost of the building. Asking more of this community, after everything you’ve already given, is simply more than I am willing to do.
Serving the car community with honesty, respect, and love has been one of the greatest honors of my life. What we built together over these 40 years is something I will always be proud of, and something that can never be taken away.
Thank you for the memories, the friendships, the loyalty, and the passion. This may be the end of an event, but it is not the end of what we shared.
